Its the final POD tomorrow.
And I've mixed about 5 songs.
Fortunately I am able to finish my documentation in time :D

Both of my PODs are done, all the necessary things that should have been done, already did. I am still working on other PODs, primarily in terms of mixing/mastering and slight music arrangement. Though there are really tons of things to do, I am still loving it. I don't mind doing all those stuff.
At least I now know that mixing is my strength currently.
Anyway, there shouldn't be any problem in meeting the deadlines as I could see that the workload is decreasing exponentially.
So, I am going to continue working. Oh, happy chinese new year everyone!

Right now, I am still working on my arranging assignment, but fret not, much have been done. Only thing left is recording of vocals and scoring.
This week, I have 2 PODS to work on. Lets talk about Wendy's POD. The genre is a fairly slow ballad. So far, I have only mix songs of Dance, hiphop and Pop rock styles. So, I was kinda felt challenged at first. Only thing I know is that the sounds cannot be too compressed, as compared to heavy rock styles.
Still, I am going to spend some time to research and hopefully, the song would turn out good, or even better !

Recently, there are many classmates looking for me for help in mixing. One of them was Jolene. I like her song very much actually, probably both of us did the same genre.
That was my first attempt in mixing for other songs, and I really enjoyed it! As far as I could recall, I think I spent about 3 days in her mixing, and she was really happy about the product. That was really motivating for me to strive even harder.
Anyway, there are several PODs left for me to mix, like Averil's and Wendy's. Hope I am able to finish all of them in mint condition :D

Finally, I have finished arranging the instruments for ARR 3 assignment. Also, I have recorded vocals. So, I should only left the full scoring.
I would say, ARR 3 is really one of the biggest assignment. Currently.
I am sure that I will be able to finish whatever things that I have on time.
We now left about 5 more weeks before everything is done.

Comparing both my PODs, I guess the one that need the most changes is POD 2.
Recently, I caught up with my collaborating partner, Elliot, and discussed about the scenes that need to be re-filmed.
And we came up with only 1 necessary scene: Final scene
During the presentation of POD 2, Tim asked us to change that scene, because apparently that look like some industrial area.
Tentatively, we are going to film again at some HDB blocks.
We shall see..
